The place that writer O. Henry made famous, Pete's is proud to remind tourists and New Yorkers alike that Pete's first opened its doors in 1864 and has remained open continuously since then. Both an official historical landmark and NYC's longest continuously operating bar and restaurant (Fraunces Tavern otherwise would claim that title), Pete's has ample experience with judging changing ye olde American menu to suit current tastes.
