Former Torissi and Parm general managers Nialls Fallon and Gareth Maccubbin bring a "quiet alternative" to the East Village's seemingly endless bounty of raucous bars. Unusual because it lacks a kitchen, however the cured and canned seafood, as well meat and cheese plates allow you to create interesting mix of flavors. An extensive beer and wine lists adds to the fun, and are reason enough alone for a visit.
Outdoor seating allows for excellent East Village people watching, and excellent vantage for watching some of the basketball action at Tompkins Square Park.
