In MODERN WITCHES, A lesbian actor uses witchcraft to cure her relationship anxiety while struggling to create a self-tape audition for a role as Virginia Woolf, culminating in a surprise spectral visit. In BRAIN HEMINGWAY, a blocked writer with a deadline is harassed by the subject of her last theatrical flop, Ernest Hemingway.
