They even house a world-class collection of almost 200 hundred of the finest sakes. The Cool Room keeps especially "delicate" wines—as well as their collection of organic wines—stored in a particularly coddling environment. A second-floor space features a space for classes and events, as well as for their free tastings, when a special 15% discount is given on the wine or sake of the evening. For the experienced and nubile oenophile alike, Astor Wines also houses a library filled with books and accessories.

The Meadow

Florence Meat Market

Quality meats and cold cuts, and knowledgable staff are the reward. However the old school experience of sawdusted-floors, old family photos and basic decor is the mustard on the salami.

Cacao Prieto

Chocolate and booze in the artisanal hub of Red Hook. Founded by Daniel Prieto Preston, whose family has 100 year history of farming cacao in Dominican Republic. 100% organic and 100% passion are the foundation for this business that is one of the very few chocolate companies vertically integrated from farm to finished product. Chocolate made fresh daily, with bars in a variety of cacao percentages and styles. Booze is also on the menu with cacao-based rums and liqueurs.
